I came here for lunch recently. It was my first time here and when I looked at the menu, I was disoriented for a minute until I realized that all the writing is flush to the right. We were all thrown off, in fact, because we're used to menus being flush to the left. I'm quite glad I didn't let the menu deter me from ordering because I was very happy with my lunch! I ordered a bowl of the tortilla soup, which was so flavorful and delicious! This soup is one of the best I've ever eaten!!! It comes in a big bowl with chunks of chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and crispy tortilla strips, with grilled corn and fresh cilantro, amongst other things. It's also topped off with a dollop of sour cream, which made it even more rich and creamy. I also ordered two papusas with the soup. These are small soft corn tortillas that are pounded flat and grilled with melted cheese and pulled pork inside. And, the papusas are served with a side of salsa marinated cabbage slaw, which goes very well with it. These were also delicious and surprisingly filling. Overall, the service was good. There was no wait time for lunch and our waitress was attentive. The portions are generous. The food was excellent, including mine and the other dishes that my companions ordered. I soon will be craving that soup, so I'll have to go back!
I have been to Papagallo a handful of time, I love it. I have had a different meal each time but I always start with a glass of their sangria. I have sat at the bar and at tables, I have been there alone and with friends and every time the service is beyond my expectations. The menu is diverse which makes it perfect for groups - there is something on there for the adventurous and the conservative. I will continue to return to Papagallos.
Great restaurant, prices are very fare. Food is fresh , hot and tasty. I was very hesitant to come her because the menu was so large. But do not fear - everythign I have tried or my dining companions has been good. Fried Plantains are amazing. Chicken Tortilla soup is probably one of the best restaurant dishes i have ever had. Completely homemade and really delicious. Excellent price at 4.95 for a large bowl. Clam plates - as good as what we get at our favorite lobster pound. Huge portion for 9.95 ! Chicken Parm sandwich, excellent. We have not had ANYTHING we would not order agian. My favorite place to eat in Attleboro
Great food, great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Our family loves it!
I live in New Hampshire and was going to the Attleboro area. I looked on PhantomGourmet and found this restaurant. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. First of all our Waiter Jonathan was more then friendly he was one of the best waitstaff I have ever had. I asked him about the menu and he was very knowledgeable I asked him if it was him what would he order? Jonathan gave me many choses and I got the tortilla soup which was the best I have ever eaten. I also had the steak burrito which was one of the best ever. I would not hesitate to go back if I am in the area. Thank you for the great service and wonderful food.
I stumbled upon Papagallo when I had to find somewhere to eat between afternoon and evening meetings in nearby Norton. The menu was amazing with so many choices. I finally chose the chicken stir fry with vegetables, and it was delicious! A lot of fresh veggies, including zuchinni, broccoli, red pappers and onions (Did i mention that they were very fresh!), and tons of white meat chicken! The sause was very flavorful and everything worked beautifully together. I ordered a side of guacamole, which was a bit too vinegary for my taste, but I'm sure would appeal to most people. The service from daugther Karina was outstanding. I will go again and have encouraged others to try it.
We love this restaurant! We actually chose to use their catering service and side event room for our wedding reception, which gave a few different main dishes to choose from, and appetizers for the table. Excellent food, excellent service, and a staff that truly cares about their business and the quality of their product!
I have dined at Papagallo's many times and I continue to be impressed by the service and the quality of the food and drinks. Very friendly and accommodating wait staff that strides to provide the best each time. An Attleboro Favorite and I strongly recommend the Mofongo and the Red Sangria and or the Martinis.
With a Spanish name that translates into kite, Papagallo is fairly new to the Attleboro, Mass. dining scene, quickly earning a soaring reputation for its multicultural cuisine. A light, airy atmosphere with red, black and silver accents and a large menu that travels the world make for one family-friendly establishment…but are the charming vibe and wide-range of selections enough to have us looking skyward in pleasure...
ATTLEBORO -- I'd heard good things about Papagallo, on the edge of downtown Attleboro, shortly after it opened last year. I had hoped to try it someday, but that plan kept being put on one back burner after another....
